It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children.

Job
Summary:
Coordinates the care of clients in collaboration with clinical program staff.
Liaison with insurance companies and other referral sources.
Obtains level-of-care authorizations from managed care companies when clinically necessary.
Requires in-depth knowledge of behavioral health services in order to accurately articulate and advocate for patient's care requirements and effectively obtain authorizations.
Ensures that authorizations are current and documented as required.
Qualifications Connecticut licensure required; LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or Registered Nurse Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred At least 5 years' experience in a behavioral health setting, 3 years with Masters required Documented assessment skills of biopsychosocial needs of behavioral health clients required Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required We take great care of careers.
